LETTERKENNY ARMY DEPOT

For the past six years, Amtrac has proudly served as the prime contractor responsible for maintaining more than 17 miles of track essential to the efficient operation of the Letterkenny Army Depot.
In addition to ongoing maintenance, we have successfully delivered two major rehabilitation projects that modernized the rail system to meet today’s performance and safety standards.

PROCTOR & GAMBLE MANUFACTURING 

Amtrac was contracted to build a new rail yard featuring 30 new No. 10 turnouts, over 28,000 feet of new track, and an in-motion track scale to support high-volume operations. In addition to the yard construction, we continue to serve as their trusted inspections and maintenance contractor, ensuring ongoing performance, safety, and reliability across the facility.

Amtrac replaced four No. 8 turnouts, installed 3,700 crossties, placed 2,700 tons of ballast and surfaced, tamped, lined and dressed 29,000 feet of track in Norfolk Southern’s Berkley Yard.

UNITED COAL

In addition to eight track miles of rail and ties, Amtrac rebuilt three bridge decks and walkways for United Coal in Millcreek, WV.
