Amtrac was selected to design, engineer, and construct a new rail yard to support ESSROC Cement Corporation’s $100 million facility in West Virginia. The project included the installation of six new No. 10 turnouts, 6,000 feet of new track, and a 205-foot ballast deck bridge over SR 11.
Scope of work included full site preparation, development of a comprehensive stormwater management system, modifications to existing storage areas, and relocation of critical utilities, including sewer, water, power, phone, and fiber optic lines and track work.
